Regional networks of JCCs hold major conferences
on a regular basis. WCJCC organizes a worldwide delegation to these
conferences, which include visits to local JCCs and the JCC umbrella
organizations.

Recent delegations visited Moscow for the gathering of JCCs in the FSU (2002),
Paris for the gathering of JCCs in Europe (2003), Montreal, Canada (2004) and
Philadelphia, USA (2006) for the gathering of the leadership of JCCs in North
America and Vilnius (June 2006) for the second gathering of JCCs in Europe.

me to go back home and strengthen the Jewish aspect of our JCCs/clubs in

May 4-7, Miami, Florida
The World Confederation of Jewish Community Centers led and sponsored an international delegation that attended the JCCA Biennial Conference. Thirty top leaders from JCCs around the world gathered in Miami to learn and share. As new JCCs are opening in England, Moldova, Romania, Argentina and the Ukraine, learning from the North American JCC experience was very helpful. The delegates participated in various sessions, went out with JCC delegations for Sunday night dinners and presented their own experiences at various opportunities.

June 24-26, Jerusalem, Israel
More than 100 representatives from JCCs worldwide attended the 11th Quadrennial Conference of the World Council of Jewish Communal Services that was held in Jerusalem and brought together more than 700 professionals. JCC participants were active in various relevant tracks. The World Confederation hosted a special reception, a board meeting and facilitated several presentations in addition to running a special track.
May 7-10, Philadelphia
The JCC Association Biennial Conference: "Inspiring Jewish Journeys: Securing Jewish Futures" gathered 1000 leaders. WCJCC led a 30 member delegation from 8 countries with pre visits to New York and an extensive program track at the Biennial.

June 11-13, Vilnius, Lithuania
The Second Conference of JCCs in Europe, organized by JDC and ECJC and co sponsored by WCJCC brought together 100 Executive Directors from JCC in Europe. Andrea Solow represented the WCJCC board.
A booklet on the conference will be published in a few weeks.
TOWARDS A NEW ERA - The GA in Budapest, May 20-23, 2004
Sponsored by JDC and ECJC gathered more than 1000 leaders of Jewish communities
in Europe.
Over 30 participants attended a track on JCCs.

A successful First European Conference of JCC in Europe, May 28-30, 2003
Over 150 participants from 22 countries gathered at the JCC of Paris, France
for the First Conference of European JCCs.
The conference was initiated and organized by AJJDC and co-sponsored by: EAJCC,
ECJC, FSJU and WCJCC.
